This page informs on the progress made in the inclusion of new data in the database.
Data added in 2001:
September - October |
July - August |
May - June |
March - April |
January - February
2001 December 11
Data from Di Fabrizio L., et al. 2001, Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 328, 795
2001 November 29
Data from Carraro G., Patat F. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 136
Note :2000 has been added to Carraro's numbers, except for the 5 stars in common with the adopted numbering system.
2001 November 28
Coordinates J2000 communicated by Brian Skiff added for Pismis 13.
Note : Pismis 13 has been identified with NGC 2866 by several persons.
Therefore all data previously recorded for Pismis 13 have been transferred to NGC 2866.
2001 November 26
Coordinates J2000 communicated by Brian Skiff added for Pismis 5, Collinder 197, NGC 2645, Pismis 8 NGC 2669.
Note : Pismis 6 (= Waterloo 4, = van den bergh - Hagen 50) has been identified with NGC 2645 independently by van den Bergh (1975) and
Brian Skiff (1995). Therefore all data previously recorded for Pismis 6 have been transferred to NGC 2645.
2001 November 23
Data from Sagar R., et al. 2001, Bull. Astr. Soc. India (in press)
Note : This is a new cluster in the database. I am grateful to Dr Ram Sagar for sending me a copy of his data prior to publication.

Data from Piatti A.E. Clariá J.J. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 453
Note : New object in the database, but Ru 103 is not a genuine open cluster according to the authors.
Data from Piatti A.E. Clariá J.J.. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 453
Note : New object in the database, but Ru 124 is not a genuine open cluster according to the authors.
Data from Piatti A.E. Clariá J.J.. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 453
Note : New object in the database, but Ru 129 is not a genuine open cluster according to the authors.
Data from Piatti A.E. Clariá J.J.. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 453
Note : New object in the database, but Ru 146 is not a genuine open cluster according to the authors.
Data from Piatti A.E. Clariá J.J.. 2001, Astron. Astrophys. 379, 453
Note : The new numbering system replaces that based on Moffat & Vogt study (3 stars). But Ru 166 is not a genuine open cluster according to the authors.
