New Data added in the Database in March and April 2001

This page informs on the progress made in the inclusion of new data in the database.

Data added in 2000: November - December | September - October | July - August | May - June | March - April | January - February

Status

In March and April, only light maintenance of the database hase been performed due to lack of time to work on the database.

To help the update operation, it would be very helpful if authors could send me a copy of their data, preferably in ASCII tables or ftp a copy at obsftp.unige.ch/pub/mermio. It would save the time spent to look for the data on ftp servers or to write mails.

Cross-identifications with previous studies is the main point which takes time to update the database. I would be very grateful to all authors who can supply the cross-identifications with the numbering system adopted in the database. This would help a lot!

Please, do not forget to publish the Julian dates for the radial velocities! They are absolutely needed to take the data into account.
