Distance from the Galactic Plane

This form allows to plot the clusters as a function of their distance to the galactic plane as a function of the distance to the calactic center. The distance to GC from the Sun is taken as 8 kpc

Enter at least the limits in the distance from the galactic plane, those in galactic distance are optional. The default selection accepts all clusters. You can refine the selection limits afterwards. If the scale is large enough, you can also choose to display the cluster names or not. The default is not selected.

The map is active and you can click on any cluster to obtain more information and links to other maps. The circle sizes are function of the cluster diameter. The colors code roughly the cluster ages.
