Datatype: ascc
This datatype collects the photometry used for the
All-sky Compiled Catalogue of 2.5 million stars (ASCC-2.5, 2nd version)
published by Kharchenko N.V. (2001, Kinematics and Physics of
Celestial Bodies 17, 409,
2001KFNT...17e.409K). The data base in its
complete form is available at
the CDS in the
catalogue section.
All photometric data were transformed into the standard Johnson system
by the author. It is therefore treated as a "true" BV system.
These data were also used for the "ubv.cmd" diagrams.
