For more details on the detection limit see Eisenhauer et al. 1998. Coordinates are given (in arcseconds) relative to NGC 3603 B (van den Bos 1928, Bull. Astron. Inst. Netherlands, 4, 261) = HST-Nr. 23 (Moffat, Drissen & Shara 1994, ApJ, 636, 183), the brightest star in J-Band. The stars are sorted based on the measured J-magnitude. Since image-scale, distortion and field-orientation have not been accurately calibrated, and since several fields have been combined to generate the source list, the given coordinates may be slightly rotated with respect to the equatorial system, and the relative distances may be only accurate to ~0.5". Stars that have been already identified from HST imaging (Moffat, Drissen & Shara 1994) are labeled with their reference number in column 7. For further cross-reference see Moffat et al. 1994. Due to saturation, the given brightness for the 4 brightest stars are strict lower limits.
