The adopted numbering system has been derived from Kaluzny's table 15. He used 5261 numbers for 3591 effective stars and the table was order by increasing magnitude. I have sorted the table by increasing X and numbered the stars sequentially. The cross-reference table gives in the first column Kaluzny's original number. This is a case where the adopted number in WEBDA in not identical to that from reference 1. The motivation for doing this is that Kaluzny's survey provided the best catalogue of stars in the region of NGC 2243, and allows to search for halo members.
